A third planet has been found! It has an extremely low density. For the planet-finding survey SuperWASP, it is its first find. The planet is named WASP-1b.

The planet was spotted by the characteristic dips in brightness, which was created while it’s passing in front of its parent star.

Lying about 1000 light years away, WASP-1b appears to be very puffy. Though, its mass is slightly less than Jupiter, its diameter is about 1.3 times. With this being the third planet to be found puffy, scientists are still puzzled over why they are so bloated!
