Sun will be pictured for the first time, detailing the three-dimensional views of its massive, weather disrupting eruptions. Thanks to NASA. The agency will be launching a pair of spacecraft on August 31 to capture the sun’s stereoscopic pictures.
Each of the twin spacecraft is of the size of a small car, joining the Earth in its orbit. The $US478 million project will be measuring and recording solar flares and coronal mass ejections simultaneously. The solar flares and coronal mass ejections are huge eruptions that blast solar plasma into space. The two craft will also be providing a ‘unique and revolutionary view’ of the energy flow between the sun and Earth.
