In a major breakthrough, scientists have discovered a new way to destroy deadly tumors. In this new technique, researchers use artificial blood cells known as platelets that are claimed to create blood clots and then stop blood supply to the tumors. More interesting fact is that these nanoparticles have been found effective in delivering chemotherapy drugs to the affected area thereby making survival of the cancer cells more difficult.
This newly launched method to fight deadly tumors seems quite plausible because whereas it aims at blocking blood supply to tumors, it carries chemotherapy drugs to the affected area at the same time.
Let’s hope that this new method to fight tumors would do wonders.
