Finally, researchers have come with a gene that plays, if not a major role but at least a significant role in determining person’s IQ. The name of this gene is CHRM2. According to researchers, this is not a gene for intelligence. However, it is involved in some kinds of brain processing, resulting in better mental functioning that appears to influence better IQ.
On the basis of this study, it can certainly be said that gene CHRM2 is beyond doubt somewhere linked to better mental performance.
