Neuroscientists have always remained busy with their experiments with human brain in the recent times. Now, a team of renowned neuroscientists have developed a powerful system that helps them to look deep inside the brain of a person and read their intentions before they do something in actual.
It has happened for the very first time that scientists have devised a system to read intentions in such a way. They made use of high-resolution brain scans to make out blueprints of activity before interpreting them into consequential thoughts.
Where the new technique can be employed?
The most probable use could be in brain-controlled computers, thought-controlled wheelchairs and artificial limbs that respond to thoughts while the advanced versions could even be used to help in interrogation process of criminals. Moreover, it might help to spot people who plan to commit crimes before they go against the law.
The researchers are now working to enhance this technique to be used in differentiating between passing thoughts and genuine intentions.
