mariam imran
Second birth? Yes, second birth! At least, for innocent Mariam Imran whom doctors had given just five months to live. But thanks to the modern science that brought Mariam, back from the jaws of death transpiring her as the first ever youngest person in the history to have double lung transplant.

Mariam suffered form cystic fibrosis-a hereditary disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems. This disease had made her condition so vulnerable that she had to be given oxygen to breathe. Now you can see her in her childish mood running, kidding, laughing and playing with her friends.

This change in her life is no less than a miracle for Mariam and her family. However, it won’t be fair until due credit is given to those who contributed to this noble work; I mean the donor. Certainly, without donor our advanced medical technology would have been too lame to turn this nightmare into a sweet dream. Well, hats off to one who came forward as savior of Mariam.

The following words of Tamsin May, of UK Transplant, well speak the message lurking in the whole episode:

We need people to talk about their wishes for organ donation and join the register.
