a human dna sequence

It is a well known and age-old fact that humans are similar to their bases, especially when it comes to anatomy and biology. But, with scientists venturing into more and more of the unknown, it seems there are still lot more to be discovered and rediscovered.
This is well revealed by a new surprising analysis which finds that the billions of building blocks making up each individual’s DNA are not alike - they may vary from individual to individual - defying the very basics of biological sciences!

Though, studies published in 2001 revealed any two people’s DNA to be about 99.9 percent alike, the new paper suggests estimates of 99.5 percent to just 99 percent.

The new analysis straight away demands the 99.9 percentage in humans’ being identical to be lowered.

The study has for the first time, presented the entire DNA makeup, or human genome of an individual.

With the analyses showing more differences from the standard human DNA sequence than expected, the recent study will surely open new horizon on not just research into how DNA varies among people, but eventually helping to understand the genetic basis of various diseases.
