nanotechnology

Have scientists ultimately discovered the process by which life could be formed in the laboratory?! Although, this might not be ascertained at present, a German nano-technologist have designed molecules and programmed them with organizational behavior. And, when randomized, they get self-selected into a pattern resembling the microscopic structures of a biological organism.

There are some lacuna in the paper published by the researchers of the Max Planck Institute and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. They did not say what the molecules were. It is only stated that the molecules more instructed to arrange themselves by size.

The researchers believe that the process is akin to the method by which inanimate molecules organize themselves into units of life - proteins, cells, tissues and ultimately plants and animals.
