Fingertip Digitizer

Point, wag or tap your index finger in the air and direct the actions of an electronic device! University at Buffalo researchers have developed a new device, ‘Fingertip Digitizer’ — users wear it on the tip of the index finger - that can transfer to the virtual world the meaning and intent of common hand gestures.

The amazing ‘Fingertip Digitizer’ can transfer very precise information about the physical characteristics of an object to personal computers. It is not just that!

The device can also sense the shape and size of a human gland or tumor. It happens by the user’s simply tapping, scratching, squeezing, stroking or gliding a finger over the surface of the object! It is not only interesting, but seems to be groundbreaking in the field of medicine!
