It seems as if college degrees are not that important to be an inventor rather a cause and motivation is more imperative to conquer the impossible. John Kanzius, a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy, proved the above mentioned point when he developed his own treatment, involving radio waves and nano particles.
Kanzius isn’t a doctor nor has any medical training but through his motivation and willpower, he developed a new treatment to fight against cancer!
How does it work?
Well, the nano particles travel with the help of radio waves and burn the cancer cells upon reaching them. While doing so, Kanzius made sure that the surrounding tissues don’t get burned. However, the hardest part according to him is finding that particular cancerous cell.
As of now, the tests have only been carried out on animals. The cancer patient turned inventor hasn’t revealed his results on animal tests. Although, he has high hopes for the method he developed. Kanzius will use chemo treatment as long as his method isn’t tested out on humans.
I wonder if he will test his own treatment method on himself or another cancer patient.
Whatever happens, this is a unique method developed by the patient. Researchers are truly fascinated by this break through. Kanzius expects to be joined by 700 people at the April Symposium. He might get a fair amount of publicity in April and eventually, making anything between $2.5 billion to $10 billion a year.
After all, necessity is the mother of all inventions.
